Mobile Connect had surpassed 2 billion enabled users in the first year. In order to recognise the industry impact and members that had contributed to this success we created an awards ceremony within the Mobile World Congress agenda.
The event was attended by senior executives of the mobile industry and was hosted by the Director General of the GSMA. As part of the elegant reception there was a spoken-word poetry performance (see full project here), speeches from key players and of course awards.
Organising and creating an on-brand event from a blank canvas was really exciting and liaising with all the various suppliers, marketing teams and logistics teams delivered a real sense of teamwork.
