Audience - Over 60,000 member organisations from over 180 countries use the Sedex platform to exchange data, manage business risk, meet compliance and drive positive impact on people. Members are focused on responsible sourcing and ethical supply chains. Buyer members from leading brands across the world inc Unilever, Walmat, Pepsico, Target, Waitrose to thousands of Supplier members across every corner of the world. Sedex employees across 7 regions are also a key audience.

Objective - With a growing number of members and some previous successes in smaller forums, the challenge was to create an enivornment where members could come together to share challenges, discuss solutions and collectively input into the future development of Sedex Products and Services.

Impact - Working with every department and region across Sedex, I built a Community Engagment Programme (and a team to support it) aligned to the company priority of ‘putting customers at the heart of everything we do’.

Since the launch in July 2021 the Community Engagement Programme has brought over 30,000 members together to discuss 32 different topics, with attendees from over 80 countrires and 30 industries. Meeting virtually, in-person and continuing the conversation on an online platform, we have been really focused on developing valuable engagement opportunites with various tactics to drive input from members. 89% of all attendees shared they found the Community Engagement Programme valuable or extremely valuable to their organisations.
