The SEDEX CUSTOMER CONNECTION - NORTH AMERICA

After over two years of only being able to have virtual events, The Sedex Customer Connection North America was an exciting time for all involved.

Having set up the Sedex Community Engagement Programme in 2021, it was critical for us to realise the impact of getting people together, in-person, in their own timezones, discussing and aiming to solve supply chain challenges they specifically face in their region.

The goal was to bring together the biggest 50 members (Amazon, Walmart, PepsiCo, SC Johnson and more) from North America and have a fully interactive, engaging day, updating, sharing, networking and feeding back into critical products and services.

As this was a new event I created the overall objectives, created and designed the brand and gathered a team both in the UK and US to collaborate and bring the plan to life. The event was supported by a pre and post event social media campaign, where attendees were getting familiar with each other in a LinkedIn group ahead of the event day.

The event received great feedback and set a high bar for future events in the series.
